  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

What have you done to your GV60 today?

I'm having trouble picturing this. The brake rotor somehow shifted on the hub, so the bolts were out of line with the hub center?
Exactly. It did not happen in the front, just the rears.

I dropped some acid (green) today. I like the caliper color on the Kia EV6 GT, and it works with the contrast color on my blue/neon yellow interior. Seems appropriate for a performance EV. Color is Porsche Acid Green, high temperature clear coat over custom decals. I'm biased, but I think it looks how it should have done from the factory.

I think they look really cool! Did you do it yourself? If not where do you take it to get something like this done? What is the costs to do it?

Replaced my OE tires with Michelin Pilot Sport EV. They feel pretty good. I cannot tell if they are louder than the OE tires though.

The shop ran into a problem remounting the wheels onto the car. The wheels came off fine, but when attempting to put the lug bolts in, they were only able to thread one or two onto the rear disks. Apparently the rotor had shifted, causing the bolts to not be able to thread in correctly. What they did was to loosen the three phillips screws that hold the rotor to the car, then they turn the rotors slightly and re-tightened the screws. I had never seen it happen before, but they did say it sometimes happens to Mercedes as well.

After you have been driving a while, please post back your experience and judgments of the new tires vs the OEM tires.

I have been planning to replace the OEM tires with the 4S tires so your experience and conclusions will be helpful.

Thanks.

On this note, I’m looking for some nice license plate frames for my Vik Black gv60 performance? Any ideas?

The dealership sold it with pink autonation frames which…

15 is the minimum amount, is that what you want?
You know what, Stan, if you want me to wear 37 pieces of flair, like your pretty boy over there, Brian, why don't you just make the minimum 37 pieces of flair?

Now I didn't g to the 4S but did change out mine to Toyo Proxes Sports summer compound and the difference is staggering. It is for sure the best thing you can do to improve braking/handling and they don't squeel like pigs every corner like the crap OEM ones.

Do it!!! People constantly ask me what wheels I have, I'm like stock just powdercoated, my Advans are gonna take like 6 months to arrive.
Can you post more pics of your car in various lighting? I'm still considering the blackout trim on the bottom.

I think it looks great!

Wifey installed a cute rabbit on top of the monitor while I wrapped all the chrome trim pieces and smoked out the taillights with vinyl

Really dislike how there are no lights on the charge port area when charging my GV60 at night. I added a small touch activated battery LED on the charge port cover for better visibility. Only con is that I have to turn it off manually since it doesn’t turn off automatically. I can live with that though.
