  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Gotta ask where did you get the ducktail? Been looking for one for ages

Love the wheels, looks great, and I agree... even dropping from 20" to 19 made a difference in ride and road noise for me. I did gain mileage, and you should see an improvement as well.

What does your mileage look like now? I like this idea.

Not an earth-shattering difference, but any improvement helps.
I went from an estimated 250-260 on a full charge to 260-270. All approximate, and based on terrain, weather, traffic and type of driving I'm doing (of course).

I'd kill for 260-270. I have the P with 237.

Well... that's typically me being a very good boy, doing the speed limit, though not 'Prius style hypermiling'. Mix of city and HWY, with minor elevation changes. Comfort mode, Auto Regen set to 1. Advanced.

Do you find your traction is worse with the 19s? I'm worried that with the P model, acceleration is going to be worse due to loss of traction. Also, what kind of tires did you use? Were there any issues with the wheels fitting over the brakes? Got pictures? :)

If anything, traction has improved. Being an Advanced, no issues with the brakes. I let my 'tire tech' take care of the offset amount.
The best part of the change is the decrease in road noise and increase in ride comfort. Handling is the same or better.
I love the Pirelli's. Had a similar type on my Audi's.

That looks really nice. What do you mean by "offset" ?

How did you know your rims would fit? Did you need spacers?

Today? I manually installed the European October 2032 navigation map and software update.
Until today, I've been driving around with a dealer-installed update from September,
installed by Genesis UK prior to me flying to London to unbox the car.

In addition to new maps, a couple of other features were added:
- Driving into a tunnel now not only shuts the outside air intake, but also the windows if any are open.
- Support for Amazon Music — Not that I'll use it, as I'm on Apple Music already, but hey, it's there.

I thought this was meant to be pushed to the car as an OTA, but apparently wasn't.
But updating it from a USB drive, was a rather painless process.

I'd like to eventually black out the emblems/badge, black trim, and chrome delete the 'Z' trim on top.

Anyone find all weather mats yet? OEM seems quite expensive (>$300 right?) and I don't even see them available on the US accessories site... and not sure if the front is all one piece (which I think would be best).

This is literally the only one I could find, but have never heard of the brand: 2023 Genesis GV60 Floor Mats Interior Liners
I put in TuxMat floor mats. Front row and rear seats. I will be putting it in the very back as well. Good price point, excellent quality.

The only complaint I have with the TuxMat in the back is the smooth finish. Anything back there slides around like crazy when you take corners at speed. And let's be honest, we all corner just a little faster in the GV60 than we used to before we had an EV.

I put in a dash cam!!
I got the Viofo A129 Plus Duo.

The most difficult part was cable management and getting the rear-view mirror 'cowl' back on.
It comes with a rear camera, and honestly, I may never install it as I can't figure out a good way to run the cable from the rear glass to the front camera. If someone has suggestions... I'd be appreciative.

Use the headliner. Put it into the top of the windshield, and just tuck it into the gap and run it along the side of the car back into the hatch.
I did this with my GV60 on the second day of ownership.

I looked at that, but there doesn't seem to be much of a 'gap' anywhere along that path... Things are pretty tight along the side of the car (on the pillars and above the doors).
If you can post a pic or two, that would be great. If not, I'll try to figure it out... or not.

You will need a plastic trim tool. You can find them all over. Feed the cable through the rubber trim boot that the rest of the hatch door wiring goes through. Then feed the wire along the gap in the headliner. You may have to pull a couple trim pieces off. It is not as hard as it seems. Just take your time, and don't block the airbags with the wire.
Watch an install video on YouTube.

Or go to a stereo shop and pay them to do it. It should be $100 or less.

Its is an expensive vehicle. I wouldn't mess around but instead find a quality sound shop.
