  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Installed the Dynamic floating wheel caps today. Always liked those things on my other cars. You can see by the pictures they are a much more robust cap. Also they stick out from the hub a little, so they look like they could be stolen easier. But the strength of the spring holding them in, I tried, and I couldn't pull them out by hand.

This look pretty cool. If I didn't have vision wheels, I would get those.

I wanted those but all I could find were ones for $100/wheel. I’ve never seen OEM ones !

Added the window visors. The blend in really well, so they are almost unnoticeable. They do allow the windows to opened about 2" in the rain. And they even include a visor for that back nonopening window in the back. Why, I don't know. It's hard to tell it's even there. But they are nice to have.

I'm looking into a set of 19" carbon fiber wheels. These look decent, and at $4500 for the set, reasonably affordable:

At 17 pounds, I'm guessing lighter than the stock 21's.

Well, I popped a tire hitting a rock. Sidewall damage so it was replaced. Does anyone know the max tread depth difference (same axle) for the vehicle?

I have never seen a published delta for Hyundai/Genesis but many other manufacturers suggest not to exceed a 4/32 difference.

Yeah I'll chance it I think... other tire is at 7.5/32" or so, so 2.5/32" difference
