What is the best/smallest wireless Apple CarPlay adapter?

Hey folks, can anybody advise me on what the best wireless apple CarPlay adapter to use? I seen some out there, but they look bulky. Trying to find the smallest but yet effective devise out there. Any help would greatly be appreciated. If anybody has any pics of their set up, that would be very helpful.

This is the best I've had out of the 3 major ones out there. But then again I use Android Auto, don't know how it interacts with Apple Carplay

I purchased this one off of Amazon and am very happy with it. It connects the minute I get into the car and is only about 3" wide. It's about $89 right now.

It's in the car now but I would estimate it at 3" x 2" x 1/4". I'll measure it tomorrow.

If you wanted to go a step further without altering the physical dimensions of the device, you could get a Carlinkit AI Box. This gives you Apple Carplay or Android Auto, but significantly adds the functionality of a Tablet. So you can access virtually anything you could on a Tablet from the screen in your car, including YouTube, Netflix, etc etc.
I have one in my Electrified G80, and it fits perfectly in the compartment where you would put your mobile phone, and its so slim you can put your phone on the charging pad, with the device on top, and the compartment lid will still close without issue.

How does that work with phone calls and texts? Do you just use the car's normal Bluetooth for those functions?

The phone side of things is exactly the same as CarPlay. You select CarPlay from the systems menu, and the device pair’s with your phone as any other Wireless device.

Which AA carlinkit ai box do you have? There are so many options on Amazon, each with wildly differing reviews. I am looking to watch Netflix when I eat lunch in my 2018 g80 sport at work.

Thanks for the reply. I got the android 12 carlinkit 8ram 128gb. Worked well for the first 2 weeks but then it wouldn't connect to my phone's hotspot wifi anymore. It'll connect just not get any wifi for me to use Netflix. Did you have any issues with it?

Well I use it with a SIM card, this allows me to switch between CarPlay and the tablet functions fairly seamlessly.
