What is this for on the trunk lid of the Genesis

What is this used for on the top of the trunk lid? Can't download pictures but it is a triangular box that opens with a latch to a 90 degree angle!

Don't mean to be picky, but that is on the bottom of the trunk lid.

Agreed. Great feature they tossed in there. I think the poster might be talking about the Hazard Triangle holder. We get the holder but us US folks don't get the Triangle.

Agreed. Great feature they tossed in there. I think the poster might be talking about the Hazard Triangle holder that us US folks don't get.

To be accurate for the original inquirer's sake, we in America get the HOLDER, but are not MANDATED - as many Europeans are - to carry a Hazard Triangle, and thus the Triangle ITSELF is not included.

And for the original Poster, this discussion has been had before, so if you search the threads for hmm Triangle maybe, you will find pictures to confirm this is what you're talking about IIRC.

This hook clamp also works as a holder for an umbrella..... it works
