What is your biggest complaint about the Hyundai Genesis?

I have a creak in the headliner above the driver door. Does not happen to often but when the car gets torqued a little it makes the noise.

If it changed the functionality of the keyfob too it would be even nicer.

After 6 months of ownership and ~10,000 miles there a couple of things that I would list as a pet peeve on the Genesis. And I should state that I really very much like the car.

But lets be picky:
The display on the radio setting shows such a small amount of information. Could we show the name of the band? Album, Year....
The cooled seat. But I guess that is really my wife's peeve.
The parking assist alarm going off when it is snowing.
The navigation system is very expensive to update.
Map lights shine everywhere, not just down.
And the ride is very stiff. This is partly my ultra high performance tires, but still.

Yup that is about it. Not one thing that I would consider a deal breaker. Now where's that thread where I can list the good things, it will take a while.

Couldn't get it to work on my non-tech and got the dealer to do it for free. Think I remember reading something somewhere that it can't be changed this way unless you have the tech package.

This could be the case. Mine obviously has the DIS and whatnots.

Just curious, does it do the folding mirrors also? Or does that still take two button presses?

On my 4.6 both seats should be cooled. I have a 2012. OEM tires could be better. I now have Bridgestone Serenity plus. Pricy but very good.

My 09 will not pass smog test 102K miles first smog. Dealer cannot fix it. Recommends getting BAR to waive the test?? My car is severly devalued at this point and not able to be sold to be driven in CA. I am waiting on Factory Support which has been less than acceptable in my opinion. No call back on time etc. I will try tomorrow.

Nothing to date, car checked out fine. Tomorrow 2/10 Hyundai No. America is sending an "Engineer" to repair the car. I will post the fix as I am told by my West coast Executive Rep. they have done two for her with positive results. Pete.

The 5th or 6th to 3rd shifting. It ls something that I have got used to, but is still not Genesis worthy.
I wish reverse had a Volkswagen like detent for reverse. Reverse should not be easy to get into like it is in the Genesis.
