  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

What is your biggest complaint about the Hyundai Genesis?

As I pass the 8 year mark, the only thing that comes to mind is that the ride is more harsh over poor roads. I don't recall this being an issue in the early days of ownership. I plan to have it checked out at next service. But overall I still feel like I won the lottery with this one.

I recently replaced my 4.6 with 2015 3.8 AWD. I am very disappointed in the reduced fuel milage. In the 2010 4.6 I actually achieved 30 avg mpg hwy. Around town 21 avg mpg. I haven't taken the new one for any extended drive to really see mpg hwy Further, the default normal drive mode does save some fuel around town, but overtime you start her up she is in normal. Not good, in my view. Can it be changed with computer update?

Oh and another complaint. Fuel economy is terrible in cruise control. Why is there not a conservative cruise mode that is not wo anxious to achieve the set cruise speed. If I need more speed, the peddle is right under my foot. Hyundai could be the first on the block with such a feature.

We love our 2015 Genesis V-6 loaded Hyundai! Only item not working well at all is the AM radio. Any suggestions, post here.

Placement of turn indicators in the bezel (behind the steering wheel) where you can't see them and no warning chime that indicates they are on for extended periods and no indicator light in the sideview mirror or in the heads up display.

Low intensity parking lights.

No rear fog lamps.

Didn't review all 45 pages but my pet peeve for my Gen1 is the placement of the side mirrors. They are not far enough forward to give you a good look during lane changes and they are so high that in combination with the thick A pillar they create a blind spot when making a left hand turn making it difficult to see curbs etc.

Have had my 2012 rspec 5.0 for 2 months now...love the car except for the voice command for the music on my usb stick...Hyundai assumes I only like 99 songs?? In my old MKS, I could request songs by name or by artist.
