What is your biggest complaint about the Hyundai Genesis?

Radio is complete junk. Bluetooth implementation is completely flawed, the voice recognition is the worst, the processor cannot handle long names and/or more than 20 names in the addressbook, and there's no digital reception (so-called "hd radio").

To top it off, they integrated it with hvac indicators so you lose capability if you add after-market. BAD bad.

That is my #1 complaint.
Nav sucked during my eval prior to purchase so I didn't pony the extra coin for it.

I love the firm suspension - please don't change that! This is a SPORT sedan, that's what sells, that's what I bought.

Since you said you didn't get the navigation, is it safe to assume you got the base Genesis? That might be why you're not fond of the radio.

Wow, I cannot believe my ears regarding the Lexicon radio system, I have had 2 Genesis's, the first one was the 3.8 with the premium package and the radio was magnificent, 2 years later I followed up with the 4.6 and the tech package, the navigation system is the finest and clearest I have ever seen, no problem with voice recognition and the 17 speaker radio is beyond description. In your complaints were you possibly be referring to a Yugo??

300 miles on the car. Didn't notice any issues yet, except for tires.
Features I really miss : blind spot detection (had two occasions I almost hit car in my left blind spot). It's a shame they didn't put it in 2012 model.
Parking sensors are pretty cool- warned me couple times of pedestrians approaching from the side and trying to cross in front of the car(I was looking the other way and didn't see them). Reclining rear seats would be nice (I just loved them in Equis).

I agree that this is a nice feature of the Equiinox, but the Genesis has a very quiet blower, which is by far the most quiet blower in a car that I've ever owned, Hyundai probably realized that this just wasn't an issue in this car

Love the car but not being able to get a cumulative running mpg is annoying. Resets to 0 on both Trip A and B when restarting car. Also getting some leather stretching in drivers seat. Seems a bit premature.

My BMW seats stretched too.

My 2000 7 seats looked perfect when I sold it a few months ago. I may pursue this with dealer at first oil change.

Well, one could see just from the way the seat leather is cut that the leather could stretch rather quickly. I'm surprised no one else has mentioned this.

if it is bad/apparent/premature go for it...my GF had a similar issue and it was swapped out with out question/issue. hopefully you get the same service

I was concerned about that too, but the other day I got in after work and my wife called. it's hot as hell, I have the fan going full bore and I asked her if she had problems hearing me--she said not at all.

I think it might be more of a noise issue for the driver but not the person on the other end. So depending on your hearing, that could be an issue. There are times I wish I could get the phone volume louder via speakers.

I'm starting to get some rubbing noises from the leather against the centre tunnel on both front seats.
I doubt these seats will last as long as the ones on my 2001 Accord's plain old cloth seats.
They are more plush but not as supportive as my Accord's.
Maybe it's more of a "sit on" rather than "sit in" feeling that I don't like. Maybe it's just my size

No multimedia bluetooth streaming and clumsy iPhone integration.
should be an easy fix with a firmware/system upgrade.
No illumination on the homelink buttons. My Sequoia has an almost exact rearview mirror, but it illuminates faintly at night to help me find the buttons. the illumination is in no way a distraction.
