  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I have been playing around on the factory web site "build your own" section. If you select a 3.8 sedan with the T package the next screen up offers a few extra options like wheel locks and an ipod cable. Also on that screen are optional 18" wheels for $1000. The picture shows a 9 spoke wheel that looks like a standard 17" wheel. But the T package already includes 18" wheels with the 7 split spokes. What the devil are these optional $1000 wheels?
If you select the 4.6 sedan with T package the wheel option does not appear.

Hmmm.... I think there are three wheels, correct? The standard 17", the 18" for the V6, and the 18" for the V8? I'll head over to the configurator and check it out...

I think the standard 17" wheel is the 14-spoke. Premium gets you the 9-spoke 18" with the chrome inserts. The Tech package gets you the 14-spoke V8 wheel?

Maybe you are mistaken - the standard wheel is not 9-spoke, the base wheel is just very rare.
