  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Had to get a wheel balanced and the guy told me he couldn't do anything cause the wheel was slightly bent. only could be seen on the high speed balance machine. What would be my options so far the wheels and tires have been nothing but a problem.

It's possible you can get the wheel repaired (around $150-200). If that doesn't work then you can either replace the bent wheel (something like $900 for a new stock wheel replacement) or get new wheels (which is what I did).

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
You can also find used wheels from a quality salvage yard or eBay for $200.00 to $250.00. Search for them at car-parts.com

That sucks! sorry to hear. Like has been said, you can get it fixed. If not, it's time to buy those 20's you've been looking at! :)

I have the same wheel problems, two of them. I'm not sure if I hit pothole or the wheels came defective from the factory. I'm going to look into this maybe we could get new ones through warranty.

If there is no signs of damage to the wheel, warranty might be the way to go. Keep us informed.

Wheels can be repaired. I have had it done on other vehicles. Hubcap Annie does repairs. They can do miracles with repairs.

If this was an issue with the car since new (as opposed to hitting something), Hyundai might replace it under warranty. This will depend on your specific situation.
