Which models/packages have interior wood trim?

I can't tell from the brochure which models/option packages have the imitation (?) wood trim on the interior (not just the shifter knob). I've seen it in a base ($33K) model on eBay, and seen it not present on 3.8 premium models. Can anyone help me? Maybe what I saw on the base model was an aftermarket wood trim application?

The base model has the imitation wood trim across the front dash and top of the doors (so I assume what you saw was not aftermarket), and the others have leather in those places.

However. there are some small areas of the car where they all have the imitation wood trim, mostly around the center console and door controls.

I have a 6 teck with full wood
It looks great and cleans easy

I would be glad to swap (or pay for) your leather with my "wood". Keep in mind that it is not real wood, it is plastic that looks like wood, and is rather shiny.

Are you sure? Do you have the wooden accents on the steering wheel? I'm pretty sure that's exclusive to the V8 in Canada.

Maybe I am wrong, but I think he is saying that in Canada, they have the plastic that looks like wood intead of leather dash and upper door trim (same as on base model in the US).

There is a confusion about real wood, versus the plastic that looks like wood (and is easy to clean).

Its nothing more then fabricated pieces made to look like real wood but the point is to me it looks better & less likely to get messed up than that leather which im sure someof you think is also real, if anyone wants to swap thier leather pieces out for my brown leather trim please lets get the ball rolling

On the wheel itself? Yes, we know the V8 wheel is real wood.

This is the wheel that came stock with my car.... I have included a link to show you a picture. I guess they are selling it for the models that don't come with it? I have no idea if it is real wood, or not.

well i couldnt tell u about that since im not into that sport/entertainment but if your interested in swapping let me know , im about to order those pieces but would prefer to swap & save some $$$ but only if those parts are in excellent condition

Yes, the steering wheel on the V8 is real wood. I thought people were talking about the dash trim.

Edit: After looking at the "features" list, they refer to all the "wood" trim as "woodgrain", even on the V8 steering wheel, so now I am not so sure what the steering wheel is.

I live near Atlanta. I am not sure how to remove the current woodgrain (plastic) trim and how to replace it with leather. I would think it would need to be done by a dealer, which might be expensive. Also, I have black interior, so not sure about a light color leather.

I got the base model because I needed the extra headroom without the sunroof, even though Premium Package or Plus Package were both great bargains. The fake wood dash on the base level looks OK, but the curved dash reflects back to the driver out the right side window, which is a little distracting when driving on a tree-lined road where the light and dark varies rapidly between sky and trees. Looks easy to clean, but I wish it were not so shinny. But overall, a rather minor irratation.

If that is the case he is wrong then, because my V8 w/tech has the leather dash and door trims.

I am curious about one thing--how do plan to remove the leather and install the woodgrain plastic? Is that something you do yourself or are you planning to have a dealer do it?

i do all my own work but thats because i work on cars & motorcycles for a hobby for years so i know what im doing, now someone else might have to take thier car to a dealer to have thiers removed (recommended)
