  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I like the TSW's myself. But if I was buying a set for myself I would get the TSW Vairano.

Just a question while on the topic of 20"s or on simply upping the wheel size; Wouldn't the ride of the car get harder the larger the wheel is and the smaller profile the tire has?

Ha! You all are no help:p A vote for each and a 3rd good looking option.

The TSW's kind of give it that BMW 750 sport wheel look.
The Falkens give it the high end Luxo look....

Thanks for your thoughts. Keep em coming.

Wheels are such a subjective topic that you just have to pick a style that you can live with. I for the most part like a wheel that is similar to the BMW CSL wheel. It has a look similar to the wheels on Indy cars and F1 cars. I am not at all in love with the bling or dubs styles. I had a 2 dr 2wd Tahoe ( a rare piece ) that had a slight lowering (3f, 3.5r) with a set of OZ Nova ST 18" wheels, staggered size with 255 f, 285 r tires. The truck never failed to get lots of compliments. I sold it and the first thing the new owner did was to toss the wheels and tires and put a set of 24s on it with super low profile tires. It now looks like a Hot Wheels model. To me it looks hideous but I don't own it anymore and therefore have no valid opinion. I wish he would have let me have the old wheels back because they were in demand when OZ discontinued the style. The big thing I would caution though is to try to avoid some of the Chinese made wheels. The finish and casting quality can be iffy. I have always had good luck with the European and Japanese brands but some of those like Enkei, BBS and OZ have brands that are now Chinese made. The other thing to look for in hub diameter vs wheel bore center. Most if not all cars today have hub centric wheels. This is to ensure the wheel always goes on centered on the hub and isn't mounted eccentrically. A good wheel merchant will know this and include any hub centric rings that may be needed. Since the wheels that fit the Genesis will also fit most 5 lug Japanese cars and all 5 lug Mustangs, the manufacturers typically bore the center hub to fit the largest fitment and then reduce it with hub adapters which are never included with the wheels. If you don't get this right the car will ride like it is on egg shaped wheels.

Great point. Thanks for the tip! ;)

I vote for the Falken LX-10. Just my personal opinion of the two choices.

Another vote for the Falken LX-10s.

bump getting back to wheels. LX-10's I think on my 2011 white.

Falkens with white.
Mallorys with silver.

IMO.
