  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

So I noticed these white specs on the steering wheel. I can't determine if they're on the leather or if it's an abrasion of the leather. Have any of you seen this before? Any ideas on what would be recommended to fix this???

:-?

Our 2011 has at least one of these specks on the leather. Since it is not raised I have assumed it is in the leather rather than on it...Although it looks like a paint speck....I have been tempted to pick at it or scrub it to see if it comes off, but have thus far resisted this for fear of blemishing the leather...

Do not try to scratch it off! Sure way of scratching the leather... and it may not even work.

Take a sharpie to it, and call it a day! :-P

Lightly dampen a dense microfiber towel. That will get it off unless it is in the leather.
