  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

My thoughts exactly greekgeek! This is 2016 not 1985.. I'm 33 and knew I wanted a Genesis. If I wanted a BMW their would be one in my garage!

This ^^^ and I'm 32.

I have nothing against BMW I just don't want one. I'm a lease guy though as I don't put on many miles and like a new ride every 3 years or so. Maybe when my Genesis lease is up in 2 1/2 years there will be a new BMW that tickles my fancy and I'll get it.

I've already owned more cars at 30 then most people twice my age. I have had the Germans - Audi chiefly, and those ownership experiences were bookended by Lexus offerings.

I am fortunate to be in a position in life that I can afford to buy most of the cars I want - I looked at offerings from Audi, MB, and Lexus before deciding to purchase another Genesis. I wanted the car because I wouldn't see myself coming and going frequently and the fact that the G2 is a handsome car and I thought it would look incredible with some modifications.

As you said ACE350, if I wanted a german or Japanese luxury car, that is what would be in the garage next my wife's Cayenne.

It's almost as if its being said that guys in their 30's had to settle. I don't feel I settled in any form - I think the Genesis is equal to or better than the other cars I looked at.
