Why do people compare the 330i to the G70 V6 if the BMW 330i performs below a Kia K5 formerly the optima. As someone that just traded in a 4 series 2019 gran coupe for a 2022 G70 3.3t I think there’s quite the three card Monty going on here. Supported by BMW brand enthusiast. The 330i comes in at $50k to $55kI’m genuinely confused because they would never compare them if this was reversed and the BMW had a V6. Unless the real comparison is the BMW 340 which is $60k to $65k. Between the inflated prices and the vast engine spec differences I don’t get how these cars are compared. Either you compare a 40k to $50k G70 V6 to a $65k BMW 340. Which makes no sense to compare one payment is $840 the other is $540 a month.
or you compare it to a 330i that performs below a KIA K5 Optima. And it’s still $50 to $55k. For this all to work the BMW 340 would need to be priced around where the 330i is priced. All of this makes so little sense.

“Just the facts, ma'am. Ergo: The front-wheel-drive 2021 Kia K5 GT, the Korean automaker’s edgy Optima reboot with a 290-hp turbo four and a DCT, has a quicker 0-60 mph time, better cornering and better overall handling performance than the rear-wheel-drive 2020 BMW 330i.”

After driving the updated 2022 Genesis G70 3.3T, its combination of fun, driving dynamics, and comfort could make it the best in its class.
