  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I picked up a 2017 Hyundai Azera Limited from the dealership the other day and I absolutely love this car! I paid about $18k out the door for one in really good condition (although it had 40k miles on it :\ ). However, the amount of tech and luxury features absolutely blows my mind for this price point. Panoramic sunroof, cooled/heated leather seats, navigation, 19in wheels, 293hp, great safety features, multi setting power seats, large touchscreen infotainment with CarPlay integration and not to mention really handsome styling inside and out.
My local dealership seemed so eager to get the car off the lot since it'd been sitting there for a bit and its online listings went quickly from $21k to $17k and even still we were able to negotiate it down a little bit from there. these most recent models returning to dealerships as people finish up their leases on them, I think the Azera will become an excellent bargain for someone in the market for a near luxury car between $15-20k. I realize they didn't sell so well because of the comparison in value between the lower end Genesis cars when the car originally sold for $40,000, but even more the reason to take advantage of the car's obscurity and American-market failure now that it's lost most of its value.
Makes me wonder why there's hardly anything online highlighting this hidden gem of a used car. What do you guys think?

I like the Azera. It is a good alternative to an Lexus ES350. I personally did not buy one because I preferred the more powerful 5.0 Genesis model.

The Azera are rare cars in my area because I do not see many on the road.

It’s a great car. But the Kia version of it, the Cadenza, was even better styled at the time and better priced. Azera was also greatly overlooked because it sold on the same floor as the Genesis. At the time the base Genesis stole the pizazz for just a few dollars more.

Our other car is a Cadenza (sister to the Azera). It is a great car, and it drives pretty good for FWD, but at the end of the day, it is FWD.

It's not that it's not a great car, it's that this is a Genesis forum.

We owned the first gen version years ago and it was a really sharp looking car back in the day.

This forum is titled “Around the Automotive Industry.” It’s just one of the many topical forums contained in this Genesis owners website.

I’ll take an FWD any day vs. RWD in wet or winter driving conditions.

Of course the Azera/Grandeur is still available elsewhere.
