Don't see why not - as seen from Genesis placing #1 on JD Powers' latest APEAL study.
The biggest things that would inhibit return buyers are the lack of a full lineup (esp. CUVs) and subpar customer service/purchase experience - both things that Hyundai/Genesis is working on rectifying.
There are a # of members here who are on their 2nd, if not 3rd Genesis model (starting w/ the original Genesis sedan, getting the 2G Genesis or G80 and/or upgrading to the G90).
Think the bigger issue is w/ the 850 or so Hyundai dealerships that sell the G80 as opposed to the 350 or so select dealerships that also sell the G90 (not that all dealerships that sell the G90 do a good job or as good of as job as the better dealerships).
As for Tesla, Musk is asking suppliers to retroactively refund payments to help it become profitable - lol!
Automakers generally don't update telematics software, but that may be changing as autos more and more become tech centers on wheels (at least for within a certain period of time); but as tech/hardware changes so quickly these days, it becomes difficult to allow for updates as the hardware gets outdated.

I think that will be better once they have a limited number of dedicated dealers. They have 350 Hyundai dealers, some that have little interest in a low volume brand and the things that should go with a luxury brand.
Seems like there are some good dealers, but not enough of them based on stories here. They have to set a higher standard and enforce it.
