  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Gents, has anyone purchased the subj item? My dealers say that they don't fit right and reqiure mods. If they did fit right, who did you purchase them from? Thks and regards.

Thks for the info. Did you purchase your from the same seller and where they in Hyundai packaging? OEM

Got mine from sfr racing store back n 20.10

I purchased mine on eBay as well.

The install was simple. I did the first one and my 13 year old son did the rest. Assuming you don't want the old "H" inserts, drill a small hole in the old cap, screw in a dry wall screw, then pull on the screw; the cap pops out. Insert new cap. Done

This is a lot easier than getting all that glue off the trunk when replacing the big flying H.

These are official KDM (Korean Domestic Market) OEM parts imported by various independent firms to the US, and yes they have Hyundai packaging. I don't believe that Hyundai Motors America (HMA) imports them as official Hyundai parts in the US. Some US dealers have stocked the parts, but I assume they get them from same places we do. They purchase all other Hyundai OEM parts from HMA.

Funny that your dealer said that. When I went to purchase my car, the dealer had already changed them all. But I didn't pay or them. ;)
