
Just did a test drive of 2022 G70 3.3t Sport Prestige, this is definitely what I am going with but being close to mid year, I asked the salesman is there any real benefit to waiting for 2023. He echoed basically what you said. Major changes already made in 2022, there will be insignificant going forward for a bit.Just coming off a major update for 2022, which was far more extensive than the typical mid-cycle refresh, the G70 is unlikely to see any major changes for the next 2 models years, quite possibly. Compounding the problem is the global supply chain issue, so mfrs would be lucky just to have enough parts to build existing designs.
If you can afford to wait, a better reason would be to ride out the shortage-induced high prices. Demand should start to cool off, now that the Fed has started to raise interest rate.
Was that all they posted or is there more? Link?Someone on the Facebook page posted parts of the 2023 G70 Product Reference Guide. It looks like no real changes and NO implementation of the 12.3” 3D gauge cluster which is a HUGE bummer!
Is the "no more delivery" issue only for your locale or something on a grander scale?It would be interesting to see the rest of this product reference, I had put money down for a '22 g70 and was just waiting for allocation. Was shown an internal email that stated that there will be no more g70's 80's or 90's delivered of the '22 model year. When I asked how long I would now be waiting for they said August. I hope this is just under promise over deliver, but I could very well be waiting for a long time with my money in limbo. If anyone has any additional info on the '23 MY that would be greatly appreciated.

youll be fine on regular. dont start a new thread. theres several already. The 3.3 gets similar fuel mileage as the m340I'm also in the market for a '22, since there's no way Genesis would change it just a year after significant upgrades. I'm bummed it doesn't have the new engines, which are more efficient (and they have dual injection). My wife is balking at the fuel mileage, mostly because reviews knock it as the worst in the segment, but it shouldn't be that bad. The other deal-breaker for her at the moment is if it REQUIRES premium fuel, which is $0.60 more expensive here, so over 5 bucks. I think it's only recommended, but will ask on a thread I'm about to post how the car runs with regular. I know it has less power, but I just want to make sure the engine would be happy with that.
Both of the 2 closest dealers to my house (ALB is 300 miles away) have ZERO Genesis inventory at the moment. And yes, that means no freaking vehicles at all; none. That's crazy. So the chances to get a discount evaporated. Ha ha. Found one almost like the one I'm considering ('22 3.3T RWD Sport Prestige in white/sandstone) in Peoria, from the same ALB owner, but it has the more expensive white paint, that I'd have to make sure it's not bluish. We'll see what happens.

I bought it because there were no 2022's around that I wanted, and although I paid more, I benefiting from a model year newer car. The only change they may or may not have made is (maybe someone out there knows), there in no "piped-in" exhaust setting, which I think was standard on earlier models??Anyone have any info on the 2023 model? I have the 2023 3.3T SP and it includes the piped in exhaust setting under 'Setup>Sound>Active Sound Design'. The only difference that I know of is they brought back the power trunk lid for the '23 model. For some reason I don't have that ability in my set-up options....
