  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Wow, Is that a Bentley?

Wow, I owned an SLK AMG 32 and it was bulletproof other than a couple minor electrical issues. All AMG engines are hand assembled. Ibwas treated like Royalty by every Merc dealer I visited, never had to fight for a loaner or for proper oil, or for common politeness.

The one I'm looking at is $38k with 12k miles on it. I paid $45k out the door for my G70 3.3T and the trade offer is $37k. I dont owe much on it.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but I do believe the C43 AMG has the only engine not hand built by AMG

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
please do, obviously youre regretting your purchase. The dealership situation you are in along with all the issues youre having makes it seem like a different car is your best option. Honestly a C43 AMG is never a bad choice, as long as its in warranty. Youll take a loss on trading in this soon, but I think everyone has to make a sanity vs money decision and occasionally sanity has to win out
Yes, totally agree. I've never had worse buyers remorse. I knew there was a risk, but had no idea it was this bad. Honestly, being treated like a scrubby criminal trying to "pull a fast one" after confronting the dealership about a ding on my door and curbed, touchup painted wheel was the icing on the cake. I never expected to be treated like royalty, but I at least expected to be treated politely. I did expect loaners though and also expected the maintenance folks to honor the manufactureres recommendations.

Yeah, you're correct actually. Think only the C63 gets that for the C class.

I just need to stop compromising, bite the bullet and get what I really want... a new 911 S or Audi S7. Big bucks, but whatever. Only live once.

Kind of all over the map there.

Yeah, I agree. I'm approaching 50, so in a transition period between all out sports car and luxury sport sedan... hahaha

I've been there. In fact, I'm still there 😊

So many cars, so little time. (And not unlimited funding. I always say, if I had the money, I'd need a REALLY big garage!)

RS5 Sportback > S7 in my books. If you want to throw in more contenders to confuse yourself

Zero competent dealers within 200 miles of me. I've called every one. All the same b.s., no care attitudes and none use synthetic oil let alone know how to work on this car. I'm leaning towards trading in the car on a CPO 12k mile C43 AMG. Theres a nice one in my area for $38k.

If it were me, I'd go for it, especially with the trade in value they'd be giving you. Just remove your aftermarket parts before trading in, sell them, and you'll break even (sort of).

I agree 100%. With just 1k upside down on the trade in I would make the deal today.

Nah, screw all that - GET THIS!!!

Or get yourself a clean E46 wagon and swap in the M3 motor and drivetrain. I've seen this done, it's gorgeous.

Really nice looking car.
