I'm looking for a 2012 Genesis 3.8 with the Premium and Tech Packages in Champagne Beige (gold) exterior, cashmere interior with wood across the dash and front doors. I've been looking a long time. Why are only the basic 3.8 (no packages) have the wood dash and very few at that. I live in Florida.

You may be looking forever. Only the basic model comes with a wood dash. The Premium and Technology package models both come standard with the leather dash trim. No exceptions, as far as I know. That's why you haven't seen any. The leather dash models do have some wood trim accents on the door arm rests, as well as on the center console.

Now, go out and get your 2012, or later, Genesis!

It's not really wood, just plastic that looks like wood. It scratches pretty easily. As noted above, the "wood-grain" plastic is only on Base Trim model in the USA.

Well, I have the opposite 3.8 with Tech and Premium...car is black/black with only 14000 miles and 3 1/2 years left on the warranty. Interested? Look at my ad in this section.

Sorry, although I like the look of the black exterior, it's just too hot of a combo in the Florida heat.
