  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

XM Radio has no signal alert...contacted listener care @ XM and unable to connect a signal to satellite (Subscription is current)...their recommendation is to take it in to the dealership.

Anyone else experience this issue and is this something I can do manually to reset/connect XM w/out a trip to the dealership?

Thx for any advice

Unfortunately, if XM has sent a signal and you still don't receive it, something is wrong.

There is a known common problem with the shark fin antenna leaking water into the housing and causing corrosion to the antenna connectors inside there. I had a 2012 that experienced the same symptoms as you have described after about 1 year of ownership.

Take it to the dealership and have them inspect the antenna.
