OK.... So Im on You Tube and I come across the Hyundai Channel and Im viewing this 5 minute video about the 2012 R Spec and they mention it has XM Weather. Does anyone have this option working in their car?
 
I had it in a recent Sonata I owned, waste of money. The only option I know of is traffic for the 2012 Genesis. Have my doubts about that too.
 
The XM weather is commonly used in aircraft GPS nav and display systems and works quite well the only gotcha is that there is an additional subscription fee from XM. Having the radar data superimposed on the navigation screen would be a nice gee wiz feature.
 
I have XM weather in my airplane but I don't see any value in having it for a car. My father-in-law has a Sonata with XM weather and he was showing it off which was cool but it's not something that I would spend money on.

Maybe if I was using the car for a lot of cross country travel it could be used to pick routes and avoid thunderstorms/hail but I doubt if my car will ever leave a 100 mile radius from my house.
