You really can't tell too much on how the car looks but I really don't care for the rims. Also profile of the front end resembles Kia K9 which in my opinion is not better than current Genesis.

Any photos of interior?

That front end is looking like a carbon-copy of the catfish-looking Quoris. That's not a good thing. I also think that (as it stands, all-covered up), this front end is giving me the Maxima vibe. Also not a good thing.

Of course, once they take the covers off this thing, it can come together to be an entirely different-looking animal. Sure hope so!

The grille looks very Ford Fusion/Aston Martin-like.

Look close. I think the car in the photo has a fake grille attached because of the fit of the cloke near the headlights.

When I got my '12 Genny 6 months ago I had a sinking feeling that I would love the '14 and be wishing I had it.

I'm so glad that this thing is fug with its 6 window greenhouse with the triangular blackout piece. I hate that. Seriously, it looks cheap. It looks like the designer couldn't figure out how to do something.

On the Mazda CX-9, it's barely there (we looked at those before getting our other car recently). On the Sonata, it's larger but not too bad. On this, it's huge. I can't stand that look.

On the other hand by the time these come out I'll be like 6 months away from paying my beauty off, just got it washed and changed the oil and it feels as smooth as day one. Great car! When it's clean, the black is so smooth looking.

Say it ain't so, Hyundai.

Yeah, that rear 3/4 window area is where this new one loses me. I'm sure the rest will look good but it just screams Sonata/Azera to me rather than keeping the Genesis's DNA separated from the rest of the Hyundai lineup...

Well if it retained the current cars BMW "hofmeister kink" people would still complain if not more. I actually like this new ones rear doors better as they look more upscale to me but that's just my opinion.

New car will definitely have HUD. Whether that (and other features) make it to the US-Spec car remains to be seen.

I like the overall dimensions and style so far... but that front grille is going to either make or break the car - it doesn't look drastically different aesthetically from the current gen - and that's a good thing.

Grille is much more vertical, for pedestrian impact regs, than today's car. Headlamp surfaces, too. Check the front end zoom shots and look past the mesh. Think today's 7-series and you won't be far off.

I don't know where you're getting at but there is 0% similarities even with the camp on:

Starting with the vertical vs horizontal slats the Genesis's grill will have a flat bottom and top as opposed to the tabbed Tiger grill on the K9 with the bottom portion curved. It looks much better than the K9s grill.

I stand by my statement. You can't tell anything about anything with the camouflage on. As someone has stated, the grill slats are probably fake to throw people off the scent. The one thing this design has going for it is it APPEARS (to me at least) that this car, unlike the K9, does NOT have the ugly, enormously bulging headlights. At least it appears that way.

I hope that one Hyundai executive a few months ago was right when he said that the new Genesis will make BMW design look pedestrian. I paraphrase, of course.
