  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I need to replace door handle due to malfunctioning lock button. Are there any specific instructions for removal of the door panel available? Any assistance or direction would be appreciated!

You might find info on www.hmaservice.com
Registration is free. MS Internet Explorer is usually required for the browser.

Thanks very much! Looks like a very helpful sight (once I figure out how to navigate!) I've registered and will explore.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
Went to hmaservice.com and registration was free BUT, to access information you had to sign up for a paid subscription. Minimum was $20.

Search for sser OneFunGenesis. He has a link to the 09' manual in his signature that taken from hmaservice before it changed to a paysite. Wish I had a dollar for every time I typed this.

Its probably somewhere in here:

They're all generally the same. Find and remove the one or two screws, then start pulling the panel away from the bottom edge to release the clips. Then move upward carefully but with intent, releasing the other clips, then when all clips are undone, lift up on the panel to unseat the window rubber from the door along the top edge and unplug all connectors.

Hey there, I actually posted pictures on how to do this in a soundproofing thread. Just ignore the parts where I add materials.

I also didn't remove the metal panel in the middle, but you can just remove the visible bolts to get that off depending on how far you're trying to get.
