My V6 has exceeded ALL my original expectations. It performs quietly, smoothly, and economically. Just yesterday the wife and I drove 160 miles; the first half into a slight headwind and the return half with a slight tailwind. Holding 70 mph, my readout registered just under 36 mpg's which in the real world would be around 33.5. I can do this consistently if I try. I generally like to burn name brand fuel, usually Shell, and have a bad habit of giving the car a good blowout, up to around 120, about once per month. Yeah, I know I'm a little old to be doing that but I have a good place to open it up. I bought this car new back in February and so far have 25,000 miles on the clock. I don't know if anyone else can verify this but the V6 just seems to be getting stronger as the miles increase. I've purchased lots of cars in my years and with the exception of two
Lincoln Continentals, I've never bought the same make twice, but I'm thinking the Genny just may buck that trend. BTW, my second car is a Vette and I haven't driven it even one time since, well, February.
