The OEM tires on my 4.6 were awful, got rid of them @ 20,000
Bought Michelin Pilot SuperSports from Tire Rack.
I asked the guy who mounted and balanced the tires after he test drove the car if he was OK with his job.
He said in his 25 years of mounting tires he had never seen a more perfect set of tires.
He said he didn't have to use ANY balancing weights what so ever, not ONE anywhere.
He said that all four wheels and tires were as true and balanced as they could be, in other words perfect.
The improvement I feel driving the car is now much better than it was with those cheap OEM Dunlops that came on the car. The car just seems more attached to the road. Wet performance seems better as well.
My decision to buy Pilot SuperSports was if Ferrari and Porsche consider them good enough use them on their new cars they certainly ought to be a good replacement tire on my Hyundai 4.6 V-8.
