  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Does not seem fully working on two of my browsers - the exterior color does not change from silver no matter what is chosen and the color and trim options are not clearly shown.

$55700 for my loaded V8 in Manhattan Brown... And, no - I don't see the color change either. It's probably not working properly yet...

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!

I just added another link to another site but it doesn't work any better. I am emailing Derek Joyce now to let him know the sites are not working properly. Will let you know when they are fixed.

They fixed the external color selector on the site but the 360 viewer still doesn't work. I notified them (again)...

It sure would be nice to be able to "build your own" Genesis and be able to find it. But we all know the past realities of buying a new Genesis. In my case, the car I wanted was 700 miles away. I guess I was just "lucky." The '15 Genesis has a much more varied list of exterior and interior colors and models. It will be interesting to see if anybody gets to buy their first, or even fourth choice car.

In my case, I've already picked the color I want and it only has one interior color option. All I have to do is select the options I want(fully loaded, shouldn't be too hard to find) and I'll be in business. If I have to travel a bit, that's fine. That just gives me an excuse to "break it in" on the drive back.

I liked the Ibiza blue but sadly only has the white interior. I wish it had at least black, I sure hope they bring that nice saddle color over eventually.

That's it. I rather like the white interior, but it's definitely not for everyone.

It looks like they added a few new technology features, and then split the tech package in half. If you consider that their new options are table stakes in this class of car, then an apples-to-apples would compare a 2014 Technology Package to a 2015 Ultimate Package. (Both are 100% loaded and both have current market features.)

So, if I did it right (and remember correctly), the 2014 R-Spec MSRP was $48,320. The equivalent 2015 MSRP is $52,450.

A 2014 fully-equipped V6 MSRP was $44,820. The equivalent 2015 MSRP is $49,950.

Last, the two base models are $36,120 (2014) versus $38,950 (2015).

On the surface, it looks like they effectively raised the price of the tech package from $4,300 to $7,000 (when you look at tech & ultimate together).

Overall, it looks like a about a $3K - $5K price increase, depending on options.

Expect this with every new generation until Hyundai is on par with everyone else. Hyundai isn't out to be the bargain basement auto maker. They just happen to be that - for now...

I mean it's a nice color interior but when I was at the car show every single car with the white interior including the genesis had blue dye on it from pants. That's a big concern for me. Otherwise I wouldn't mind that color. Maybe it's easy to remove, not sure.

I noticed this at the auto shows with the Kia K900 - which is an AWESOME fullsize luxury sedan - but it had the same problem. Then again, a LOT of people are getting in and out at these types of events... Still, you don't see that happen in other makes and models... I wonder...

It's there. BMW dealers even sell a service plan for the oyster leather - it and most other makes will show blue jeans and not just at auto show traffic levels.

But that's the thing. I never noticed it on other vehicles at the auto shows. I go to Detroit and Chicago every year. Maybe I'm just not seeing it "as much" or maybe the other makes don't use white. At the moment, I don't remember...

They may have crews maintaining the light color leathers at those shows.

Well Kia better get on that! I heard people complaining about it...

I'm with you on that. I love the color blue but you would be spending alot of time cleaning the white (ivory) interior. I wish they offered the blue with the light tan. Oh well, maybe in 2016...

Well I don't often wear jeans and not nearly as many people will be getting in and out of my car. I'm sure it's nothing Lexol can't fix.
