  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I think the Genesis dashboard knobs for radio volume and cabin temperature would be better if they had a index mark or line on them. That way, you could spin them in the right direction and for the approximate amount of spin.

I realize that they can spin endlessly with no built-in stops, but still it feels a little weird using them without an index mark. I guess you have to spin them and look at the LCD screen to get an idea of how much adjustment you have dialed in.

I use the my ears for the volume adjustment and the digital readout for the cabin temperature adjustment. For me, that works perfect.

Correction. I adjust the temperature until I'm comfortable. Then I look at the digital readout to see what I set it at.

Spin them??? I never have to move mine more than a few degrees. Not really rocket science. Use your ears for volume and the display for temperature if you really need to know that exact temperature. My temperature knob especially hasn't required appreciable movement between Texas summer and winter.

Use the volume control on your steering wheel. There, I solved half your problem.
