  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I leased the 2015 AWD Genesis Ultimate in Parisian Gray w/ Ivory interior. $900 due at signing, included first month DMV and some fees. My taxes and some fees are in my payment of $529 a month for 36 months @ 12k a year. Sticker was around $52,600. Leased in New Jersey and registered in NY.

Did everyone buy, is there anyone who leased?

At the end if you have to buy the car how much would you need to buy?

Wow, great deal! What was the selling price?

I have no idea on the buy out or actual selling price or what rebates they came up with. I guess I will see all that tomorrow when I pick the car up and get a copy of the final paper work. Thanks, I'm happy with the deal.

Yikes. Not to rain on your parade, but those things are critical to understanding the lease deal you got. Leasing gives more room for dealers to mask critical things and the more you know about the deal, the better armed you are. First rule of thumb - never openly shop by desired monthly payment alone.

Trust me they started with $1999 out of pocket + taxes and $569 a month..... I never start with a target payment and I always roll the taxes and as much into the payment.

I'm paying $19,415.00 total. That's including taxes, fees and DMV over the course of my 36 month lease. I think that good so I don't care about buy out because I not interested in buying it.

I think that is a decent deal. I am leasing my genesis as well because although I like Genesis, just do not see myself keeping this car past 3 years. Honestly if they had 2 years option with similar terms, I would have picked that one. Not to sound snobby, but after honeymoon phase wears off, I think I will prefer the kid of convenience offered by other luxury brand dealerships that I appreciate on a long term.

I hear you. I get board with my cars that's why I have been leasing 12 years.... 3 years is my limit. 2 would be nice but I can deal with 3. Plus 3 years give the companies time to come out with new or updated models :-)

Enjoy. When you do get the paperwork however, can you share the specifics for others on the board who may want to lease. The final negotiated capital cost, lease factor (rate) and buyout amount would be helpful to those who may go in to negotiate a lease.

As far as buyout, it may be good to know. I have leased cars where the buyout is below current market and bought and then immediately sold it for a profit at lease end.

I will check the paperwork when I get home. I think I saw 49k and a 2k rebate while signing.

That sounds like a great deal to me. Hopefully there are no surprises when you get to the dealer.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
I took delivery already and everything went as planned, nothing changed. The original msrp with the couple of extras was a little over 53k

I'm at the tinter now $150. Wings emblem is home $9 and fog light are on their way from Korea, ebay $345 shipped!!!

I'm having a problem with the bluetooth though..... The phone pairs and my contact list downloads but I don't get any sound when I try to make a call. I checked the volume on the car bluetooth as well as my phone bluetooth and the mic is on in the car.... Has anyone had this happen? I jave a HTC One running android 4.4 rooted. I installed root cloak for the Genesis app to work. Do you think that can affect the connectivity issue?

I thought you cannot change the vehicle look when you lease it. Enjoy the car though!

I've tinted every car I ever leased with no problems. They are more than happy when you add extras. I will remove the fogs before I return it and the trunk wing is done all the time.

No Parisian. I wanted Empire State but the dealer couldn't locate one with all the options I wanted. I got to see the build date on this because it came straight from the port.....
