I am looking for a reasonable set of tires for my Genesis R-Spec.
Currently I have about 21,000 miles on it and the factory Continentals are showing uneven wear and low tread. I do not drive like a maniac, but I am aware that part of the issue may be that the car has not been aligned yet. So a balance and alignment is in the cards as well as tires.
More or less I am looking for something reasonably priced, good wear, good wet and dry traction...
I have found some good ones with good prices, but no reviews.
So far what is on my radar is Yokohama ADVAN Sport A/S, Bridgestone Potenza S-04 Pole Position, Goodyear Eagle RS-A2 and Firestone FireHawk Wide Oval Indy 500.
This is my first time replacing tires on my Genesis and want to make sure I am making a good choice. I have also read that the stock tire size is not the only one it will take. I was informed that it will take 245,45,19. Are there any pitfalls going with a different tire size? What would your recommendation be fore where to buy them and where to have them installed/alignment done if not the same place?
Overall looking to get the most bang for the buck and tire.
Thank you in advance as any direction would be appreciated.
