I've heard of this kind of thing happening at a lot of dealerships. I don't remember specific ones but I don't think it's EXTREMELY unusual - but sad, none the less. That's a good bit of mileage on what's supposed to be a new car. What was their explanation??
They didn't have one. They apparently have a mileage reporting system they are supposed to use, and didn't. They couldn't tell me how it was put on, if it had be loaned out, test driven, anything.
Hugely disappointing and like I said it was the sort of thing I was worried about. This is so much money to spend on a premium vehicle that doesn't have a premium channel like Lexus/Acura/Infiniti or the Germans. Those all cost more, yes, but clearly there are differences.
