you can essentially switch between a straight piped sound and the factory sound. you can also open them partially. I have never had them on a car before but from my understanding they work well.
I'm in. Can't wait to see. Too bad you already ordered wheels...I have a set of 3pc for cheap. LOL.
Very interested to see how you do your intake. It was fun on my build trying to adapt the low pressure catch from over the radiator.
A little update.... decided to go a different route with the coilovers. KDMholic got me in touch with a KDM company that makes springs for the 2015+, and the drop is exactly what I am looking for from a reputable company.
I am dropping off the car to have the holes filled in the rear and front on the first weekend in August. I will post pictures when the work is completed. Most of the parts are ordered - I just have to play the waiting game now! As they come in I will be sure to share pics!
Why are you gonna fill up the holes on the trunk?? Why not put the Genesis wings??
What holes are on the bumper??
Looks good, tho!!
what do you think the install cost would be for the springs if you don't do it yourself?
Would love to lower the Genesis by an inch or so.
Thanks for the info Huddleston. Just some additional info on the lowering springs for those here. They will not affect the drive mode selection (V6 & V8) or continuous dampening suspension (V8). However, those with the AWD need to wait a bit longer. These springs cannot handle the weight and currently research is being done to make one that does. Us AWD owners need to wait a bit longer.![]()
Springs that lower a car should have at least some effect on a computer controlled suspension.
Are there any good aftermarket struts available for the 2015 like bilsteins?
That's what I thought but Storm is stating that they react the same way as OEM. Will have to see what Huddleston comes back with since he will be the first to have these springs.
