I apologize for the frustration, people. I'm working on solutions that'll hopefully make everyone happy - at least as many people as possible. To those who stick around - I greatly appreciate it. To those who decide to move on - I don't blame you. Best of luck...

That being said.... "3 dollah (monthly) make you hollah!". No ads at all, full page loads, nice n fast - and I even got to turn my adblock back on.

C'mon you cheapasses.... you bought a 40-70k car... you can't drop the cost of a gallon of gas a month into the site that bands us all together?

It's not like I've given up and said I cannot or will not resolve the problem. I'll get the issue taken care of like I always do. It'll just take some time because I need to eat, sleep, work and spend time with my family like everybody else. I really don't forsee a mass exodus of the community coming over a temporary problem that very few people are experiencing. This discussion makes it sound like everybody and their best friend are up in arms...

There's no "mass" to exodus. I'm sure you're going to take steps, but this site operated without issue, right up until the words AdBlock were posted. It could be a huge coincidence, or you could be greifing those of us that choose to have a pleasant experience on the Internet. I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt and operating under the assumption of the former.

Obviously deal with family first. A work/life balance is critical these days.

BTW, clicking "Reply" to this post kicked me to the home page. :/

It took me three refreshes to get to the post after posting, then I had a nice little browser crash coming back to attempt an edit. :/ :/

I am suggesting that there is either a coincidence OR it's griefing, much like the text reads in the quote you posted. The next line is where I give him the benefit of the doubt, because were it intentional, it would show a lack of integrity. I HOPE he doesn't lack integrity.

If you need any further clarification, or restating, just holler.

I just got my first ever "let's make deal" page - at work on a Windows 7 latop with Chrome version 45.0.2454.101 m.

...and a third one after that reply. It does try to load the posted reply page first, but then flips over to the "let's make a deal" page. Not running any Adblocker that I am aware of - but IT might have something loaded in the background, for all I know.

Could be - I have not used my home PC to view the site in quite a while - usually just check on iPhone where there are no such issues. I did just did sign up as a supporting member though as I have gotten good info on this site that has helped me resolve a number of issues with my 3.8 AWD and recognize your efforts in keeping this site running. Thanks!

So, my lets make a deal splash screen is back. I believe it has to do with how aggressive my IT adblocker is here at work. It only blocks "suspect" ads however I see most ads on this site.

There are certain pages that load fine (with appropriate ads) and then those that hit the splash screen because there was an ad blocked by my IT dept. Just thought I would let you know my inductive reasoning.
