If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

2015/2016 Lease Rates

I've always wondered if a dealer was at their bottom number when they let you walk out or if they were just calling your bluff.

What's the next move after walking out? Go somewhere else and start over or come back and agree to their terms?

We did it all through email so I'm wondering if we could've hammered them more if we had done it in person and threatened to walk out.

Yeah it's possible. This is the 2nd car I bought from them, and I wasn't quite as aggressive with the first one so maybe they just said "let him go and see what happens". As it is though I'm pretty happy. 3k below invoice and only 2k down, which includes first month payment so really only 1600 down, I'm really just paying the fees at this point. I do wish Hyundai had MSD's though as I would have bought the rate down.

Anyone know where I can lease a 2016 Tech or a 2015 5.0 base for $400/mo with $4k down?

Knowing the part of the country you are in will help in figuring that out since there are different promotions for different areas.

If you are in FL I know of a few places i can point you to get the numbers you are looking for on a 5.0 base, if your credit is sparkling.

I'm in the Mid-Atlantic but would certainly pick up a FL car. Know of any dealers that would offer the 38k 5.0 deals some members here have gotten? Feel free to PM with the details.

I sent you the info via email to the guy I used. very straightforward, and worked hard to get the numbers I demanded.

u guys gotta understand they are letting new 2015 base models go for 31 to 32k right now, which means u have to base the lease off those sale prices.

Come to Florida, inventories are packed here (but very few AWDs). I had offers on 2015 3.8 Ultimates for $398 plus tax for 36/10 with only tax and title etc down.
But if you really want a bargain, seek out larger dealers that have buying leverage at intra-company inventory auctions. Apparently Hyundai is hosting internal inventory auctions across the country where dealers can bid on company cars. Those are cars that have never been registered but have a few miles on (2000-8000 miles). I had an offer on a 5.0 Ultimate with 7000 miles on the clock for $380 on 36/10 and $0 down. The car looked and felt brand new but I passed because I wanted no miles on mine and different color combo.
The dealers that I saw were all in the Boca Raton area. I ended up buying from Rick Case.

Thanks! Maybe my user settings are a little off, but I did not see anything in my inbox. Could you please PM me if possible?

Wow, those seem like really good offers! What I wouldn't give to be in your shoes. I have contacted a couple FL dealers and they seem reluctant to negotiate price unless I "come in for a test drive". Is there a way to get an offer if you don't live in FL? :(

If you are in the mid-Atlantic area Fitzmall in Rockville, Md has some of the cheapest prices in the country, and they are a well respected no-haggle dealer.
A couple months ago I was able to get a 2015 3.8 Ultimate RWD for $400 with only first months payment due, everything else was rolled into the lease. They used several coupons plus I already had a Hyundai so was able to get the loyalty credit.

The MF and leash cash, residuals and rebates available may have changed since then, but since they are still trying to get rid of the 2015's I suspect the prices are in same ballpark if not a bit lower.

I'd willing to go there once the mountains of snow disappear! How is your Genny doing under all this stuff?

Can you please recommend someone over there? I spoke to one of the Sales Guys and they pointed me in the direction of a 2015 Tech for 41,990. Surely your Ultimate package was less considering your awesome monthly.

Any Ideas? Should I ask for certain coupons?

PM me and I can give you those details, my Genny safe in garage this weekend - she doesn't like the snow LOL

2016's have 2500 dealer rebate currently, I'm not sure how long that will last. I signed 5 $500 rebates totaling $2500 when I picked up mine. They also honored the TrueCar price I pulled up, which took off about 5k.

Also 2 other promos, but they don't stack. 1k if you already have a Hyundai, or 1k if you have a competing auto. I had an Audi so I got the 1k, although my wife has a 2016 sonata and I wish those coupons stacked.

Not sure what else is out there, but I scoured the internet, Edmunds, etc and didn't see anything else. Of course this is 3 weeks ago and these things change almost constantly.

Thanks for the Tips! Looks like I'll have to suggest any rebates that the dealer forgets to mention.

in FL, the lease deal on 2015 V8's includes $3250 lease cash and a .00009 MF.

I got both plus the $1000 loyalty cash

Yeah the MF on the 2015's is pretty nutty. I almost pulled the trigger on a 2015 but then that irrational side of me made me spend more money only because of the model year. MF on the 2016 was 00140 which I wasn't thrilled with, but 6 different dealers told me it was set by Hyundai and I didn't want to lose my deal. I sure wish Hyundai had Multiple Security Deposits.

I sent you a fairly detailed email the other day and did not hear anything back.
did it make it through?

The $2,500 in rebates you signed were "flex cash" coupons. Each dealer gets a number of them and can be used at their discretion. Those are not available to every customer.

It did not. The site is not sending message to my email for some reason. Could you please PM, please?
