  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Does anyone know if there is a new Genesis Branded website? I'm hopeful they will have some of their new models displayed or at least concepts of their G80, G70, etc.......

Thank you !!

Anyone thinking about stepping up from the current Genesis to the G90? My 2015 is almost paid for and will hope for a decent trade in price on the new G90. Still need to test drive it and make sure it fits in my garage... lol.

The G90 is nice but to big for me , I'm definitely upgrading to the G80 though

It says "The Genesis G80 and G90 will be arriving the summer of 2016" :D Guess that confirms it will be and early release 2017. I have a feeling it may just be a rebadge though with maybe a few pieces of eye candy added. Would be cool if they threw in soft close doors and 360 camera.

Hell, I'm delighted with my G2 but still damned excited about the announcement and the new web presence.

GO Genesis!!!

Summer could end up being August 30, so not that much earlier than the traditional season for new model introductions. Probably the G90 will arrive first, since it has already started selling in the Korea.

The G80 specs seem to be the same as the current Genesis. It will be interesting if there are any styling changes when it is real steel. Maybe we can update with just a badging change. :-)

My point was there are very few 2016 and no 2016 V8's available yet. My feeling is there will be very few as the 2017 Q80 will take over with a few small cosmetic changes or maybe identical to the 2016 spec with a new trunk emblem and G80 badging. In a nutshell, the 2016 Genesis as we know it is a very limited production model as the G80 will take over. If you think about it, in order for the G80 to arrive on North American shores by summer, production has already started or is about to so no more Genesis sedans will be in production once the G80 hits the plant.

Hmmm, I can see it already, G80 badges will be in big demand on eBay as Genesis owners will want to upgrade. So who will start the thread on how to replace the Genesis emblem with the G80 emblem? :D Here is a head start, just remove the 3 and you are all set. ;) http://www.ebay.com/itm/HYUNDAI-GEN...ash=item3cfc815656:g:ljwAAOSwgQ9VlwnP&vxp=mtr

Wonder if they will continue to call it the G380 and G330 which indicates engine size? I need a G500. :D Maybe no engine size reference and just G80?

I thought about removing GENESIS and going with G80. Bought the emblem referenced above.

In my opinion it is too small. Not the same size as my current emblem.

Will probably just sit in the drawer.

The G80 emblem on the real G80 is bigger than what you get by stealing the G80 part of the current G380 emblem ;):

does anyone know what the MSRP for the G80 & 90 will be? The G90 looks more like a Jaguar XJL interior with the TV set up. The Jag goes for 90k +

I would imagine G80 will be priced close to the 2016 Genesis and the G90 may be similar to a few grand more than the current Equus.

I am going to wait for the "N" Series to show up before pulling the trigger providing they don't draw that out for a few years. I just paid my car off. I checked it on KBB and it is worth $40,582. Devalued from the $50K price I paid by $9,418. Not too bad for a car with 22,000 miles on it.

That's a sweet trade in price if we can get that. I only have 15k miles on my 2015. Never been thru a car wash. Always hand washed. :)

Interior...

All I have to say is that this interior shot is tits.

Definitely, if you have people in the back seat.

Shoot, I rarely have passengers in my rear seats that can utilize the seat warmers, let alone everything the G90 has to offer. I'm sure it will be a fantastic car, but I can find a better way to spend the $15k it'll cost to upgrade from the G80 to G90.
