Unfortuately, the people who berate me for posting and claim I did not do my homework clearly haven't done theirs and actually read anything I posted. The exact opposite is true and that was part of the problem.
??? I must have missed it somewhere. How long did you test drive YOUR car before signing on the dotted line? I see where you drove others for hours (which you explicitly state were "acceptable") but couldn't find where you say you even drove yours once before signing. I may have missed that.
Why in heaven's name would I be willing to lose $6,500 on a car if the ride was so smooth and delightful or just a little rough on certain roads like all other cars. Please.
Remember, we don't know you.
- Maybe you lost your income and are hoping to bail out of a contract (you could be self-employed so would not qualify for the Hyundai Assurance)?
- Maybe your wife just found out she is preggers and you are worried about payments, so a used Accord would be more suitable?
- Maybe your folks decided to give your family a car when they traded up so the new car payment is wasteful. Better to make up an exaggerated story then lose $6,000.
You see, there are many reasons why someone may need to make fantastic claims.
or is it...The dealer offered me maybe (their words) $28K on trade -more likely $27,500 (their words).
...one week and 700 miles and the value goes from $32,240 to $26,000.
Listen, I hope you get out from under it as much as the next guy but to constantly hear your crusade thread after thread is amusing, if not tiring. We already have one person who has driven your car and thinks it's fine. Which leads me back to my first point. Did you even test drive the car that you bought?
