  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

After 15+ years of Audi and Land Rover owner ship I have decided change over to Genesis! Great things too come I'm sure on the new Hyundai division!

Congrats!

For those of us in the market, could you share details on your deal?

welcome to the cheap side :)

Congrats!

Call me greedy, but how about some pics and your impressions? What vehicle did you move from and what other vehicles did you consider?

Think I did well, 3000 down and 319 a month got me AWD and signature package. Originally they started at 430 a month. A 26,500 buyout in 36 mnth

Welcome aboard! Thank you for signing up and congratulations on your new Genesis!

Has anyone else had problems with the electronic parking brake on their 2016 Genesis? Currently sitting here right now without my 2016 Genesis after less than 200 miles driven because the EPB locked up and wouldn't disengage. Car has been at the dealer since Friday and I don't know when I'll get it back. Had to have it towed away with less than 200 miles. Seriously? 😩

This just happened to me a few weeks ago. Two different tow trucks came and left without towing because I wouldn't sign a waiver. Called the dealer and they came to the car, plugged in some contraption to clear the code and drove it back to the dealer. After 3 days, they could not find anything wrong even though they were getting a warning from Bluelink that the EPB was not working properly. They contacted Hyundai and they told the dealer to ignore the Bluelink warning, that it was something wrong on their end. 2 days later I got my car back. I just received a Monthly Vehicle Report and the error is gone. Go figure.

:welcome: aboard and congrats on your new ride.

I also got error codes from Bluelink on the EPB and the cruise control neither worked. My dealer says that the EPB module may need to be replaced but was wanting to hear back from Hyundai first before taking that step. I've had many many cars and have never experienced anything like this from a new car. Hyundai needs to go back to the drawing board on this issue.
