  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I am a new Canadian purchaser of a 2015 5.0 Ultimate. My wife observed that neither of the rear seat warmers is working. Before I take it in to the dealer, is there a menu option to enable/disable the rear seat warmers that I may have missed?

Did you find a solution to this? I have the same problem. Both are out and fuses are good..

Are they lighting up when you press the switch? When I first got mine, I tried to test it while nobody was in the back seat and it wouldn't even light up. I thought it was broken! Next day, I had some colleagues in the back seats and asked them to try it and of course it worked. I haven't tried again since with the seats being empty, so not sure if it's pressure sensitive like an airbag switch.

When I owned by vw touareg, the seat heaters wouldn't work unless it was below a certain temp

Could that be the case here

That might be the case, we'll have to wait and see. But i can tell you that both do not light up when pressed. Kinda wierd that both would not be working at the same time. And fuses are all good. Any other ideas?

Just checked the rear seat heaters in my G2 3.8 Tech (Canadian car), and they work just fine. It's about 18C here today, by the way. I was sitting in the seat when I turned the seat heater on.

doors closed before turning heaters on?
the folding back seats are not working with opened back doors...

Door closed and rear temp dial on hot, if that matters. Also checked the connection in the rear center console to the seat warmer switch and its plugged in. Is there maybe another connection im missing?
