  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Not sure if all cars came with Wheel Locks but mine did so my suggestion:

It makes no sense to keep the wheel lock in the trunk with the spare, because that is the first place a thief will look
Glove box and center storage are a close second and third. Of course you're not going to leave it in the house because if you get a flat, you're screwed. What I do, is wrap it in a small towel and shove it in the cup holder in the back seat arm rest. I rarely have any passengers in the car, so it's not an issue for me. A buddy used to tape his in the engine compartment, but you catch my drift right...

My closest dealer supplies the wheel locks (and mud flaps) with the car, however he still has a $5000 bump up sticker on the Genesis.

My selling dealer does not have these things, plus I got the car slightly discounted.

Note to anyone who want to order the wheel locks. There are a couple available from your dealer. You must use the shorter wheel lock. Although the longer ones look like they will fit, you will not be able to place the hubcap back on.

If they broke into the car (to get into the trunk) isn't the entire car gone?

Hyundai uses standard McGard locks. If you don't have em don't waste your time because they don't really do anything. Anyone who wants your wheels will still be able to take them.

I have never bought wheel locks and don't plan to.

Heard y'all and I won't buy.
I probably get some aftermarket wheel lugs to match the rims color though.

The after market rims I purchased came with gorilla spline sleeves, which are essentially all wheels locks for each stem. These are supposed to be very hard to steel without the proper key.

All you need is another Gorilla key to get those off. I have these on my WRX.
