  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

G70 US Availability?

The S4 I was looking at last week had a residual of 61% (awesome...thus lower payment) and the MF came in close to 3%. Just talked to them...and residual is now 49% (WTF!?!?!...payment goes way up) and the MF is at 4.75%. So my monthly payment on 42 months/7,500 per year went up by $142 !!!! F'ing Genesis.

I have been watching Audi closely since I'm looking at the G80 Sport and the new A6. Their MF has been going up pretty steadily, seems to be more than other makes. The residual coming down probably has to do with the 2019's being closer to being released. They screwed up their 2019 release and as of two weeks ago only one model and engine (Q7, 3.0) was EPA certified to be sold in the US for 2019. It appears that there has been some movement in that from so cars should be showing up soon. Anyways, with that happening you should see some more discounting and subsidized leases on the 2018's to get rid of them once the 2019's are out. Hopefully for your sake anyway.

Check with Edmunds to get specific information for your area, they also will tell you what type of incentives are available. 2018 Audi S4 Lease Deals and Prices - Page 29

Holy crap man. That's bad news. Manufacturers play with those numbers almost in a monthly basis. Sure those MF and residual changedfor October the first.
Yeah...they did...that is what I am saying. Oct 1 hit...and boom. Hopefully they get better close to the end of Oct...since I highly doubt the G70 will even be near me. Losing hope.

Yes, all AWD 3.3T but the sport comes with 18" and the 20 spoke rims. I think Genesis never produced an 18" 10 spoke rims at all. I could be wrong but IMHO I think that at the end 19" wheels are 10 or 5 spoke and 18" are 20 spoke. .
About trim packages I see them ok. You get the Advance wich is the base, then add Elite, Prestige or Sport package. Easy as that,

So important to read the window stickers. On the Cherry Hill site they have a 2.0T listed as Advanced, noted in comments as Prestige but the sticker actually says it’s Dynamic. Good that we have all been keeping up with the details and are going in knowing more than the dealer.

Window sticker should rule.

Well...this sucks. I guess folks that know me on here kind of know I have been cross shopping an S4. Some good deals at the end of Sep...but of course...I am waiting for this G70.

Well...perhaps I screwed up?

Wow the residual was 61% even at 42 months?

Of course we're only seeing the G70s at one dealer so far... besides awaiting wider availability in general, I wonder if the 6MT models will lag much behind...

I'm not in the market right now, but seeing the window stickers for the other models makes the 6MT version even more of a tease now.

Not saying they can't, but usually rates are set for the month. If you notice a change it would probably be in November.

I've previously been told that lease deals are best in March and December. [Not great timing for you, I realize.]

So...figured I would vent a bit. Sorry.

Cars are starting to land...good stuff.

But...
- the website has no downloadable brochure
- the website has no information on official pricing and trims
- the website has no online configuration tool
- the website lists no financing or incentive (if any) information
- the website has many areas where the G70 is not listed (Get Your Price, Compare Vehicles, Search, etc, etc)
- the satellite dealer websites have no info or mention of the G70
- not a single TV advertisement or even an ad is some of the bigger magazines

What a clusterfuck. With the MONTHS of dealer holdups...you would think all the above would be ready to go on a dime...and already turned on.

I am starting to lose all respect for this company (USA anyway)...and starting to worry about getting this car. If they cannot get a f'ing website going...how are they going to organize pickup/delivery of cars to our homes and offices. Dear lord.

I mean...existing G80/G90 customers seem happy...but what a way to scare off new G70 customers.

How can they even fathom selling a single car (other than to peeps on here) to the general public.

This entire thing is way more screwed up than the product delay itself. Every single thing related to this car is a nightmare.

End of rant (y)

I have to agree with you! Makes me wonder if they will survive. I'm now considering a G80 again, but want a 2019...no mention of the 2019's anywhere. It's very annoying!

I have to agree with you! Makes me wonder if they will survive. !

I think they have enough money behind them to survive but it will be quite awhile until they thrive if they continue to operate like this.

Jim Ellis Genesis in Atlanta has their first car listed on Cars.com. 2.0 Prestige 47,070 no pictures.

I talked to Hyundai Circle customer support, dealerships are required to abide by Circle pricing and it will be available on the g70 by the end of the month when it is more widely available.

They will survive. Things are moving along and ranting about it makes no difference. I don't know their plan, but cars are being put into place and that takes time. No idea what the plan is, but they may want to have cars in place before they make all the other changes so they can direct you to a dealer after you do the configuration.

It is also possible they want to into the G70, 80, 90 at the same time. That date should be soon too. As well as the web site revisions for all three models at the same time?

Santa will be here soon kids, but if you don't go to bed quietly he won't come down the chimney.

Do you have any thoughts on when they will appear? I can wait another month or so for the 2019 lineup...waited this long, so what's another month?
