The S4 I was looking at last week had a residual of 61% (awesome...thus lower payment) and the MF came in close to 3%. Just talked to them...and residual is now 49% (WTF!?!?!...payment goes way up) and the MF is at 4.75%. So my monthly payment on 42 months/7,500 per year went up by $142 !!!! F'ing Genesis.
I have been watching Audi closely since I'm looking at the G80 Sport and the new A6. Their MF has been going up pretty steadily, seems to be more than other makes. The residual coming down probably has to do with the 2019's being closer to being released. They screwed up their 2019 release and as of two weeks ago only one model and engine (Q7, 3.0) was EPA certified to be sold in the US for 2019. It appears that there has been some movement in that from so cars should be showing up soon. Anyways, with that happening you should see some more discounting and subsidized leases on the 2018's to get rid of them once the 2019's are out. Hopefully for your sake anyway.
Check with Edmunds to get specific information for your area, they also will tell you what type of incentives are available. 2018 Audi S4 Lease Deals and Prices - Page 29
