I feel the other way around. I don't see a need for over 300hp. I don't use high amounts of horsepower outside of on-ramps, which would be like twice a day at most without people in front, and using it elsewhere would basically force going 60+ mph on a 45 limit road to have fun. I could understand if there's a quiet/big road with lots of sharp turns that allow you to slow and accelerate several times, but otherwise wringing out the car would just be a hazard.
But I'll be the first to admit I'm an overly cautious driver. Feel free to bring up counterpoints, as I've been looking for opportunities to use strong acceleration.
I agree. The 3.3 is nice but realistically I will never be able to put it to use. I just want a nice luxurious powerful-enough car that is fun, small, and reasonably practical. Almost nobody makes anymore, you have to give up something from that list, or if you want everything it is far more expensive.
