  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Ceramic Tint suggestions

The dot matrix ones?
I don't think it is water bubbles. Looks like air to me!
I Didn't have a matrix. Might want to show it to your tinter.

Did the matrix go away?
Haven't checked today but seemed like some of it went away. I'm away on vacation as of today so she's parked in my garage. Hopefully when I get back, most of it will be gone!

"I understand tinting in the deep south...but what’s the point up north?"

I'm with Beefer on this. I never had tint before I got my '15 Genesis (added by the dealer before I leased it), and never felt I needed it.

All my crimson-naped neighbors have pitch black tint on their pick'em up trucks and I can't see who I'm waving at or if they're waving back at me.

Plus, especially for you young studs, with dark tint the babes can't scope out who's driving that sporty new car. Or, not to be sexist: especially for you babes, the young studs can't scope out who's driving that sporty new car.

Haha

Looks good @NLJ !

I went one lighter than you, 35% all around:
17975

As for needing/wanting tint in Canada or anywhere else... personally, I think it looks good, gives some privacy, helps with fade on the interior, and even in Canada, we get some hot days. :)

Oh, and the guys with really dark tint, you just know they are nose pickers lol :p

I would have gotten the 30% which was the next one up for the SunTek CIR but since I had Brown interior, I felt that it may look more like a 40% instead.

What percentage is your tint for the front and back windows? That’s the look I am looking for.
It is the SunTek CIR 20. The VLT on it is 24% I believe.

It's so you can pick your nose in private.
