  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

UNBELIEVABLE!
Agreed on the unbelievable. It seems a nice car--but certainly not worth (to me) an $8,000 mark-up--although that would make me avoid that dealership in the future.

Currently heading to Wayne of Genesis in NJ to work out a deal for a 3.3T advanced awd. They confirmed on the phone 2k off msrp plus conquest rebate for the 2015 Hyundai Genesis before the lease incentive, let's see if they keep their word and that I'd be able to stack it with the 2.5k lease incentive. That should work out to ~590/month for 36/12 with no money down

Seems a very good deal. Good luck! and keep us posted.

Deal is done, got it for 605/month with first month down only for a 3.3T advanced awd with msrp of 47,370. 36/12 with 6% sales tax. They had some bs fees as expected which raised it more than the 590 I was hoping for but 15/month extra is livable. Includes first aid, cargo tray, rear bumper applique, and illuminated door scuffs (395!). Manufactured june 8 2018.

2500 lease cash
1000 conquest coupon
2000 off msrp

This is surreal I've been waiting for this car for 1.5 years, I didn't even think I'd buy today. Feels unreal.

Does this car need a break in period? Have to drive 80 miles back home now 😎

^ Congratulations! Good luck and enjoy the new ride.

Congrats! Besides the dumb stuff Genesis corporate includes like the first aid kit, were there any dealer installed options, and did you manage any negotiations with those?

1,000km break-in period.

They had some weird fees for special coating (bs, just wax) and some appearance package that I still don't know what it's about, they mumbled about taking one of those off so seemed negotiable. It's probably partly applied in the extra 15/month from my calculations.

1,000km break-in period.

Thanks, I'll just keep it tame for the next few weeks.

It seems like there have been a number of G70 purchases around, but no one is updating this thread :(.

I didn’t get a good deal. I got the deal I expected, but looking back I should have argued for them to pay my registration or something to make the hit more palatable for me. First year car, low inventory and I wanted mine NOW. I paid for the privielage

Employee pricing for 18's&19's??

Thanks for posting this! Im also in NJ and the only dealership relatively close is the Freehold Hyundai. I still have 9 months left on my lease but Im way under miles, so Ive been debating if I could trade it in early. These numbers are in my expectations of what I want to pay. Where do you live if you dont mind me asking if you're 80 miles away from Wayne?

Glad it helped! I live in PA in a Philly suburb, and it may be the only G70 in the area. I'd advise waiting just a little longer, maybe March, if you still have that many months on your lease. They will have more incentives near tax season.

Since my lease is up in Sept, Im wondering if the 2020 model will be released by then. And if so, will it have the 3D dash like they got in Korea?

All unknowns.

All unknowns.

You have been following the G70 probably closer than anyone, what would be your guess on those two?

Mine is no to both, it won't be out by Sept and it will not contain the 3D instrument cluster.
