  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Any lowering springs for 2015 Genesis sedan?

I know this thread is old but just got my lowering springs installed last week. Loving how it drives. Now for some wheel spacers. Anyone with ARK GT-S and stock wheels? What size spacers should I get? View attachment 17609
Looks sick!!! How does it ride lowered? Especially over bumps? I like the look but my Genesis will not last long on the roads here in the ATL riding that low.:(

Looks great! Yeah, be careful using the spacers - Dropped mine on Storm springs
Does Storm make multiple springs for the Genesis or just one for all trim models? If so, which do you have? I like the less aggressive drop.

Since you're on GT-S's and the front sank in about 1 1/2 inch, I would be very careful using any spacers on the front, you'll damage your tires/fenders turning right/left getting on/off of driveways, etc., unless you go ~3mph, which is ridiculous, lol
I got some new wheels and I’m driving fine. 20x10 all around I have yet to hit my fender. I do however scrape the bottom of car every now and then haha

Nice! I like the factory wheels but good to see something even nicer and different.
I think the stocks didn’t do the car justice haha

Super nice!!

I like the stock wheel look on the 5.0 model as well. The stock Genesis look is hard to improve with most aftermarket wheels. It look different with aftermarket wheels but not really better in my opinion. However, those wheels do give the Genesis a meaner slicker look.

I am in the market for some spring this summer for my 3.8. I know there are pretty much only 2 options; ARK & STORM. However, I'm looking for a conservative drop of about 1". With that said, which would best achieve that; the ARK GT-F or STORM? I'm fairly certain I can go with either choice and be fine, but from the pix that I've seen of the 2 brands, the STROM looks to be a bit more aggressive to the point where some look to be past flush; which is why I'm leaning more towards the GT-Fs.

TIA

Do you have the 3.8 or 5.0?

They are Curva Concepts C47 20x10.5 all around. 5x114.3. I don’t remember the offsets.
Thank you. The offset information is not that important because I will try to use a different size wheel than what you have. I want a 19x8.5 in the front and 19x9.5 in the rear. Basically stock size but wider. I love those wheels!!!

I'm also considering a GT-S install (vs GT-F due to the extra 1in or so drop), but I'm curious about the actual ride quality vs stock. Does normal driving with the GT-S you installed feel very different over stock, or pretty much insignificant? I don't mind a slightly bumpier ride, but I want to avoid feeling every single bump or dip in the road that's usually associated with stiffer springs.

Does anyone else have thoughts on ride quality after installing lowering springs of any kind?
