  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

As the tint was a dealer add on as well, I would imagine it is. I don't know what the percentage is but guessing 28% all around which I believe is legal here in Florida

Beautiful car in the color I am looking at. Just for laughs, I'd like to guess the state where the dealer was located that put on that strip: Florida?
Yep!

28% isnt a tint option, I would guess 35% ;)

Got it! 28% is the law for front windows in FL, so I guess it probably would be 35%. I will find out what they used. It is 3M but no telling what kind of tint they used... Doubt it was ceramic...

I just read up on florida and youre right about 28% being the law...which is weird because they only make tints in 35%, 20%, 15% etc and not odd numbers. Florida is strange haha

That looks darker than 35%, I would have guessed 20 or 25% but it could be the camera angle/lighting.
you might be right, 20% could be what that is. Hard to tell with reflections and lighting

Colorado uses 27%, politicians. LOL

20% for sure, looks like mine. Congrats on the new car and on making the dealer get rid of those god awful add-ons

I woudn't pay a penny for the dealer add on's, but I don't think the pin stripe is a biggie.

Didn't know the police have a tool to check degree of tint.

Yep, they do have it and it isn't expensive, cost around 90 bucks, if you look it up online. Well, it's ~50% paid off already

Status update...... Dealer add ons have been removed! Finishing up the paperwork now at the dealership. Here she is!!

Not bad color representation for the SI, for those that want to know, 19G70's pic above is a good representation.

Agreed, of all the pictures of Siberian Ice (being an owner myself) this is the best representation I've seen. If you're a future buyer use this as a baseline, and all other pictures as what it "could" look like depending on the lighting, cloud cover, etc. Congrats.
