  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

My 2020 G70 Delivered Yesterday

I assume 2020 G70s will have supplier changes since first model year tends to be the test year. We might not notice by just looking at it, but quality would be improved.

I'm noticing my bumper above the headlights is really flexing in this Texas heat almost to the point of looking warped. Will be bringing it to the dealers attention.

I have seen the same for G70s on dealership lots in SoCal. I hope this is a issue that is fixed for 2020 as the G80 and G90 do not warp in that way.

Possibly but the car was out in Korea since 2017 and then Canada in April of 2018.
I’ve had mine for 9 months and it has been flawless.

True, it launched as a 2018 in Korea first right? What’s weirder is that they did not add the digital cluster for the 2020 in Canada, considering that Hyundai/Kia models are adding them as well as a nicer center display.

That's pretty bad. I've been looking at other cars (lower model Hyundai's, Kia's, etc.) in the parking lot of my work and don't see anything like this!

Exactly, another thing that bothers me is G70s do not have the rubber seal around the hood. While it is easy to do it ourselves, it makes no sense when some Hyundai models have them from factory and the G70 does not.

I'll have to look at that.

Agreed. My 2009 G37S had a rubber seal at the front of the hood and it kept bugs and stuff out of the hood seam when on the highway. Add this along with no LED turn signals as minor annoyances that would have had minimal cost impacts to each car.

I've noticed some weld spatter under the paint in the exposed door surround, edges of the door itself, and a fisheye or two in the paint. Doesnt give me that quality warm and fuzzy I was expecting or hoping for from a luxury car...

Can you post some pictures if it can be seen?

After waiting a month, my Black 2020 G70 3.3T was delivered yesterday.
This isn't my first new car but I can tell you I was never more impressed after getting the keys for the first time.

It looked better than I thought, the fit an finish is impressive.
From being delivered in a glass box, to the Sales agent walking me through all the car can do and setting up the important bits, the after sales experience is second to none.

The short drives I've taken so far show just how much of a driver's car this is.

Just wanted to say now I know what all of you are talking about.

Why did you have to wait a month? I was told 5 to 10 days for my delivery.
