Ordered but have not taken delivery of exact same car/colors. Was not sure how the dark chrome wheels would look with the grey car but in pics, looks good. Wish they were a bit brighter though to provide more contrast. Are you happy with the choice?

I feel like the 5-spoke wheels give the car a more muscular appearance, even on the gray - where I think the dark chrome has the least effect

Agree about the 5 spoke but the 10 spoke give a more luxury look. That's why Genesis named them Sport and Prestige.

Well decision has been made based on dealer input. It is the 3.3 Sport himalayin grey with black/red interior. I am sure I will love it.

Did a poor picture edit by coloring the red brembos and the side boomerang to see what the car would look like.

Boomerang looks great like that. I'd wrap it. Just enough contrast with the main color. Classy, not gaudy

Agreed that the "body color boomerang" looks pretty good. Still like the dark chrome ones on the dark cars better though. I don't feel that it sticks out much given the rest of the trim.

I LOVE the red calipers, but removing/painting them does give the car a less flashy, more elegant look

^so, my first reaction was -- that isn't a G70 -- because the side panel did not seem to show (to my eye) the boomerang

btw: I have HG, AWD, Prestige--so dark chrome wheels; I like the contrast color of the boomerang with all else the darker color (well, except the red brakes--but I like that pop of color as well)

The wife did mention she likes the boomerang and red calipers.

I wasn't planning on doing anything but just wanted to see what it would look like if calipers weren't red and Boomerang wasn't as noticable.

It is a good looking car no matter what. I do like the pop of color change--contrasting with all else that is darker. I still walk up to the car and grin--just is a very good looking car.

I agree, it is a beautiful car. Nothing else like it on the road and people who aren't familiar with Genesis brand have no clue what kind of car it is. I've had people ask if it was a Bentley. Like.. Come on now, do I look like I can afford a Bentley.

Something I've noticed is that Korean people (that I've encountered at least) seem to really recognize the brand. Had some painters at the house and one of em said something along the lines of "Only the big boss can drive the fast Genesis model"

The car is a jaw (and panty) dropper for sure

If you watch Korean shows, the boss gets driven in the G80. The Chairman of the company gets driven in the G90.
