Keep posting. We were all there once.I'm not able to PM anyone yet - you were the test subject broervudu and no luck.
$5,000? Why would you put down that much? It's almost never a smart move to put a large down payment on a lease.I just leased a 3.3T Sport for $435/mo with $5000 due at signing. (36mo, 12000mi).

Need some advice.
I want to get a car by 9/3. I like both the Genesis G70 and Stinger GT2. I have been researching both for quite a while and know the incentives, MF and residuals for this month. I intend to lease either one for 36/10, although I'm probably leaning a little more towards the GT2. Problem is how to go about getting quotes from both dealers at the same time and then to perhaps play one against the other. Any and all suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.
Congrats! After all the trouble you had, how did you end up getting Circle A, special MF, and a dealer discount all at once this time?I think that may be slightly more difficult as it's apples to oranges with both the cars and the F&I office. Maybe if you take best quotes from each vehicle and work respective dealers it would be better.
I actually finally picked mine up (G70), and got:
- Circle A
- special lease rates (.00009 MF)
- all incentives (lease cash + loyalty)
- dealer discount of $700 on top of that.
Didn't end up going to NJ, this ended up being a better deal when factoring in shipping.
But generally I didn't hear too much countering from Genesis when I was cross shopping the Kia, and the Kia dealer I visited on the way to a Genesis one a few months back basically said "k. let us know if you want the Stinger instead".
But it's definitely worth a shot if you get a good quote on one or the other and trying to create a dialogue and force them to sell you both on the car itself AND the finance deals.
By being ready to fly to another state, and living in a state where it appears basically one AWD was and had been on the lot since early February.Congrats! After all the trouble you had, how did you end up getting Circle A, special MF, and a dealer discount all at once this time?

I had test driven this car 3 times, and through two salesmen as one had left and another joined the dealership in those months.
The build date will be on the door jam placard. I’d go by that for the age of the car more than being at a dealer for 2 weeks or 2 months. There are still G70s out there 8+ months old since being built if your going to negotiate off age of the car?Is there an easy way to tell how long any particular car has been sitting on a dealer lot?
From your MSRP, this looks like a Prestige to me. For that car, Circle A price is ~$45,150. Take another $3K off for lease cash and you're down to $42,150 which is just slightly higher than what you got. Assuming you have no other incentives (Conquest, Military, etc.)? Looks like your rebate is $4500? That should be $3000 unless you actually did qualify for an additional $1500 in rebate? And if so, price should be $1500 lower. Here's a lease work sheet on a 2019 RWD G70 3.3T Siberian Ice 36/10K. Without negotiating, it looks like they are giving me a 9.25% discount off MSRP. I think, but not sure, that with tax (7%) added to base lease, and $2000 down, OTD is $497.65/mo. Or, with $735 down, the monthly lease is $535 OTD. I've got a call into the salesman to explain. But in the meantime, I'd appreciate any thoughts/opinions on this deal...like what else do I need to know or have explained, is this a good deal, etc.

Congratulations on the car. I have a 2 months to get my deal done. I am really considering a demo since I so far from dealership I wouldn't get any perks of owning new. It let me afford a model up maybe or the 3.3. Decisions.I think that may be slightly more difficult as it's apples to oranges with both the cars and the F&I office. Here's a copy of my quote if you need to show that other dealers are willing to go further than circle A.Congratulations on the car. I have a 2 months to get my deal done. If you could show getting base MF with circle a that would be appreciated to show dealership it is possible. Amazing deal congratulations I'll try for that if I can get a circle a one day. Here's a copy of my quote if you need to show that other dealers are willing to go further than circle A.
Hopefully this can help some people.
I can gather my other financial docs to show things like getting the special lease, etc, just let me know.
